Fill Material for Brushes and Brooms

Proex is polypropylene and this particular product gets its' name from the X-shape of the bristle. The most widely utilized and versatile filament combination is a mixture of Proex and Crimped Wire. This particular material is very effective and used as an all purpose filament for indoor and outdoor sweeping applications, including damp and humid environments. Proex is not recommended for any high temperature sweeping applications.

Another frequently used fill material in sweeper brushes is Nylon. This very productive filament is incredibly effective in dry sweeping environment and these applications in long lasting brush life. Nylon is great for high temperature surroundings because of its high melting point and durability. It likewise works well on rough surfaces. Nylon is likewise a more flexible material option and lasts longer in scrubbing applications. When conditions are wet or humid, nylon performs less accurately.

Made of a mixture of Palmyra and Tampico fibers, Union fiber is material that is very effective for sweeping fine particle debris and is utilized for dust control. As opposed to different synthetic materials, Union has a rather shorter wear life. Often it is mixed with wire so as to provide more stiffness in general.
