Sweeper Parts Prince Albert - The city of Prince Albert is the third largest city in the Province of Saskatchewan. Chatelaine Magazine, just ranked the city of Prince Albert one of the "Ten Best Places to Live in Canada." The city of Prince Albert was one of the oldest settlements within the province and was referred to as the "Gateway to the North" since it was one of the final stops for resources before entering northern Saskatchewan. The city celebrated its 100th anniversary during the year 2004.
The fine arts and cultural community has a lot of support from the city of Prince Albert, who have provided various events and opportunities to be able to help local artists pursue their passions. The many events and venues in the city of Prince Albert include: the E.A. Rawlinson Centre for the Arts, John G. and Olive Diefenbaker Theatre, Art gallery of Prince Albert, The Prince Albert Arts Centre, John V. Hicks Gallery, and several museums. The E.A Rawlinson Centre for the Arts features the John G. and Olive Diefenbaker Theatre and the Art Gallery of Prince Albert. It also showcases local talent as well as the arts and entertainment from all-around the world. The Art Gallery of Prince Albert's mission is to facilitate and engage the presentation, preservation and development of the visual arts in a diverse and inclusive community. Named in honour of the donation of the Diefenbaker Trust Fund to the E.A Rawlinson Centre operating budget, the John G. and Olive Diefenbaker Theatre features a fly tower, more than 600 padded seats, a lobby providing both a beautiful view of downtown Prince Albert and a bar, and an air-conditioned performance space and seating area. The Prince Albert Arts Centre promotes instructional programs meant for adults and children including photography, university accredit instruction, clay/pottery, children's painting First Nations cultural art, weaving, and adult mixed media. The John V. Hicks Gallery features regional and local art. It even has craft exhibitions year-round.
Working together with the Saskatchewan Transportation Company, the Prince Albert Transit offers bus services throughout Saskatchewan. The Carlton Trail Railroad provides rail services, whereas the Prince Albert's Airport offers air services.
Prince Albert's geography is quite diverse and rich that provides lots of benefits to its economy, especially in its service centre, mining, retail, agriculture, tourism and forestry sectors. The city has more recently been experiencing major developments, such as the Fort a la Corne diamond exploration. Apart from this, bio-fuels and uranium are expected to play a bigger part in Prince Albert's future development.
