 Sweeper Parts Regina - The city of Regina is the capital of Saskatchewan, Canada. It is the second biggest within the province after Saskatoon, and is a cultural metropolis for the nearby areas within the neighboring American states of North Dakota, Montana, and southern Saskatchewan. The city of Regina was established in 1882 and became famous during the North-West Rebellion period, when troops were brought by train before they marched to the battleground. The city of Regina was incorporated as a city on the 9th of June, the year 1903 and was declared the capital of the Saskatchewan province by the first provincial government.
The fine arts constituency at the University of Regina supports the arts and culture of the city, particularly in the areas of fine arts, theatre and dance. The Regina Conservatory of Music is one of the main highlights of the music scene in the university. Other yearly cultural events connected to Regina consist of: The Regina Dragon Boat festival, Mosaic, the Regina Folk Festival, the Craven Country Jamboree, and the Cathedral Village Arts Festival. The Saskatchewan Centre of the Arts, now currently referred to as the Conexus Arts Centre, is a concert hall complex widely-known for its most acoustically-perfect environment, hosts the Regina Symphony Orchestra (Canada's oldest performing orchestra), New Dance Horizons, and Opera Saskatchewan. There is also the Royal Saskatchewan Museum, the Globe Theatre, the famous Casavant Freres pipe organs of the Knox-Metropolitan United Church and the Holy Rosary Roam Catholic Cathedral.
The city is a travel destination of the neighbouring Montana and North Dakota States, along with the southeastern regions of Saskatchewan. Some of the most likely places which visitors go to include: The Evraz Place, an agricultural fair event every month of August, the Canadian Agribition, an agricultural show during the winter months, Taylor Field sports stadium, the Globe Theatre, the Government House, Casino Regina, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police National Training Centre, the Roman Catholic cathedral on the West End, the Saskatchewan Science Centre, which houses the 1914 Powerhouse on east Wascana Lake, the Royal Saskatchewan Museum and the Mormon Temple, recognized for its wonderful buildings.
A great part of the city's economy is taken from potash, oil, kaolin, bentonite and sodium sulphite. Agriculture and farming is a major part of the economy, even if it's not as high as it was before. Federated Co-op maintains a 103,000 barrel per day refinery as the exploitation of the oil sources within Saskatchewan continues. Up until this day, the city of Regina is among the minor players in the development of the civic economy of the city of Regina.
